Speaker Bio

Wendy Johnston is an Aromatherapist, and a Yoga Alliance teacher who received her Yoga and her Meditation Certification, at Vedansha Institute in India in 2017. She earned her Aromatherapy Certification from Aromahead Institute, her Gong Therapy Certification from Mehtab Benton and Sound Training Certification in Nepal in 2023. 

Having lived much of her life with crippling anxiety and depression, she found relief by connecting to the breath through yoga, meditation and soundbaths.  However, it wasn't until she incorporated aromatherapy into her practice that she really began to thrive.  It is from these painful beginnings that she shares her knowledge, guiding others towards healing.

Wendy is the founder of BREATHE + CALM in Nashville, Tennessee, a company dedicated to helping people embrace an “interval lifestyle” rooted in tradition and plant science. Through aromatherapy, Wendy helps her clients integrate planned moments of rest, encouraging them to slow down, tune in, and reconnect.

Creating the Navigating Calm, Bold Leadership Series was a natural evolution of this work, allowing her to reach more people in a time when calm is so deeply needed. She is profoundly honored to have collaborated with such beautiful and wise speakers, each bringing their own gifts to this shared mission of healing.
